Limestone
Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the minerals calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). Most limestone is composed of skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral or foraminifera.
Limestone is natural sedimentary rock deposit composed of calcium carbonate. All limestone mined by Thanh Dat TTS falls under the classifaction of high calcium limestone.
High calcium limestone is utilized in the production of construction materials such as roofing shingles and asphalt paving. It is also used as an additive to animal feeds, in the production of glass and soil enhancement; in the wet scrubbing process for flue gas desulfurization for utilities and other industries and for mine safety in coal mining operations.
